Itinerary

Day 1: Meet at 9 in Whitehorse and move to Alpine Aviation's base for our floatplane ride to Kusuwa Lake.

Day 2-9: These seven days are spent travelling the rugged wilderness from campsite to campsite and enjoying the vistas along the way before looping back to Kusuwa Lake. A food cache is delivered on Day 5.

Day 7: Pick up by floatplane or car, depending on finishing location and back to the cars in the PM.

Difficulty

This hike is strenuous at times due to uneven ground, bush and mountain climbs. Be sure to be healthy and stay fit but don't worry if you can't complete a triathlon. Expect to hike 3-6 hours a day at a moderate pace off trail. 

Trip Type

This is an Adult Expedition. A food drop is included halfway to keep weight down. Travel is included only for Whitehorse to Alpine Air and back.
